Guwahati is the gateway of the 8 States of the Northeast and also the hub of events in National and International forums in the region. A lot of event management companies have mushroomed to support the event inflow and demand for such services. However only a very few of them have the required experience in managing their own event management company and even fewer have skilled employees or supporting staff. In this current scenario, the need for a structured system to groom and create event management professionals would be favorable for the region. To tap into this potential we have established an Event Management Institute in collaboration with NIEM.

Many event management companies have sprung up to support the running of events and the demand for such services. However, few of them have the experience to run their own event planning business and even fewer have skilled workers or assistants.

In the current scenario, the region would benefit from the need for a structured system for training and developing event management professionals. In order to exploit this potential, we founded the Event Management Institute in cooperation with the NIEM.NIEM students are the only ones learning the technology for building corporate events. NIEM has an air-conditioned classroom, modern teaching tools, a huge specialized events library (the largest events library in India), and numerous simulated events.
