Nightingale Institute of Nursing Bangalore was established in the year 2003 under the Chairmanship of Sri. G.S. Basavaraj, the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Tumkur. The institution runs under the auspices of Sri Channabasaveshwara Swamy Rural Education Society, Tumkur. The college has two buses with 60 comfortable seats for transportation to the community and hospital experience. Two vans for emergency needs are always ready at the doorsteps.

Nightingale Institute of Nursing Banglore Hostel

Separate hostel provision for boys and girls. Girl’s hostel is inbuilt within the premises with full-time safety and security added with modernized incoming and outgoing phone call arrangements.  Comfortable and spacious rooms with good ventilation and adequate lighting well furnished separate sleeping, seating, and storage facilities are provided and other facilities include 24-hour hot water and power supply by UPS backup. Attached are bathrooms on each floor along with washing and drying area. The use of mobile phones and outing other than Sundays are restricted except for weekend permission with parents. Supervised study hours are maintained daily.  Ragging is strictly prohibited.

Students are expected to abide strictly by the rules and regulations of the hostel.  Misconduct or violations of hostel etiquette are appropriately dealt with.

- Should have obtained 55% of marks in PC B.Sc.(N) & Basic B.Sc.(N)

- Should possess one year of teaching experience after registration in the state Nursing Council.

2. Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing)

Duration:- 2 Years

- Pass in GNM

- Age limit up to 48 Years.

3. Basic B.Sc ( Nursing)

Duration:- 4 Years

- Pass in 10,+2 with 45% of marks in PCBE

- Completed 17 Years of age on December 31st of the year of admission and should be less than 35 years.

4. General Nursing & Midwifery

Duration:- 3 Years

- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with 40% of marks.

- Age between 17-35 years.
