Nimra Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) Ibrahimpatnam is an engineering college, located at Vijayawada on NH-09 Vijayawada-Hyderabad Highway. It is the first institute to offer Aeronautical Engineering in Andhra Pradesh. The college building is designed more than 200000 sq. ft. in area.

The library has good collections of Indian and foreign journals on various subjects of science & technology and is equipped with a hi-speed internet connected e-library for the staff and the students.

The Campus has a sprawling cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, Badminton court, Hand Ball and basketball courts. Facilities are provided for Indoor games like chess, table tennis, caroms, and billiards. The college organizes Sports Week every year for the promotion of the overall personality development of their students.

The College has a huge fleet of buses exclusively for the convenience of students. It provides seamless transportation facilities for students in and around Vijayawada. APSRTC also runs direct bus services from all areas surrounding Vijayawada to the college campus. All the transportation process is directly monitored and supervised exclusively by the transport wing of the administrative office. The college employs only experienced bus drivers and conducts regular orientation programs on the guidelines laid by the college authorities for students’ safety.

The Campus has a huge canteen which serves delicious north Indian and south Indian food to the students. Keeping a particular interest in the health of the students the canteen provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and tea in a completely hygienic environment. The college has set up the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Mineral Water Plant to provide clean drinking water to the students.

The college does not provide a hostel facility, but within one-kilometer radius, several private hostels are available with good accommodation and hygienic facilities.
