The Center for Information and Computer Services (CCIS)

On November 27, 2011, a state-of-the-art computer centre opened for business. It acts as the main computer centre for the institute's instructors, researchers, and students. The Center has air-conditioned laboratories, 190 contemporary computers, a stable, continuous power supply, and other amenities. Seven labs are available to all students at the centre, and one lab is reserved just for the institute's PhD scholars. IP cameras are installed in every lab so that activities can be watched from a distance. Via optical fibre, the Center enjoys 1 Gbps internet access around the clock through the National Knowledge Network of the Indian government. Additionally, the centre offers desktop video conferencing and a virtual classroom. From 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, it is open.

IT Services Unit

The institute's IT Service Unit is equipped with the most modern and advanced infrastructure to provide services to cater to the computing and networking needs of the institute. In addition to providing IT Solutions, these units take care of the existing entire campus network (offices as well residential flats), Institute Servers, Web servers and other IT services like Mail, and Webserver to meet academic requirements and research purposes. High-speed and uninterrupted Internet access is provided across the campus through 1-Gbps internet connectivity by POWERGRID & 1-Gbps through NKN.

Library

The institute's central library has an extensive collection of more than 75,000 books that meet the requirements of all engineering specialities. It has an ingenious collection of more than 10,000 computer-related publications, as well as sections dedicated to each area of engineering and architecture.
