The NIT Manipur Placement for the year 2020 featured the active involvement of renowned recruiters such as IBM, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Microsoft, Accenture, Johnson Control, Cavesson System, Infosys, Powergrid, Denso, L&T, Virtusa, Capgemini, Optum, Value Labs, Newgen Software, Kirti Technologies, and more. The highest package offered in both the 2019 and 2020 NIT Manipur placements remained constant at INR 15 LPA, while the average package was INR 5 LPA.

A total of 15 recruiters participated in the placement drive, extending 40+ job offers. Among them, L&T Infotech emerged as the top recruiter, offering 9 jobs to NIT Manipur students. Notably, there was a significant decline in the maximum CTC from INR 19 LPA
