The Modern Education Society, Pune was established on 15th February 1932, to meet the demand for education by the residents of the eastern part of the city of Poona. The efforts of its founder, Prin. V. K. Joag, and of the Wadia brothers, Sir Cusrow Wadia and Sir Ness Wadia, The Modern Education Society came into being as a regular registered Educational Society formally at a meeting of its founder members at the Cowasjee Dinshaw Library Hall. True to Its credo 'For the Spread of Light', the Society pioneered efforts to open the portals of higher education to the residents of eastern parts of Pune and pursued them tirelessly through the last eighty resplendent years. The Society today has seven institutions in the bustling cities of Pune and Mumbai. Over the years, they have become the first choice to acquire an all-around quality education for many promising young men and women all over the country and abroad.

M E-Society and its staff always strive to provide better facilities and improve the standards thereof. The hostel is intended to be a second home for students. The hostels are provided with a Mess facility. Boys will have a separate Mess and dining area provided in the facility building. For safety and security, students are not permitted to prepare or cook food in any of the rooms. Students studying in a professional program who are busy with lectures and practicals are provided with in-house mess services. Mess Service is provided to all students from Monday to Saturday and is inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Girls Hostel:

The College Hostel accommodation is mainly for UG and PG program students admitted from outside Pune for that academic year. Medical/Hospital:

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Facilities for medical emergencies: On-campus medical consultations by well-qualified doctors are available for the students. A resident lady doctor is available for hostel students 24x7. Acquiring a well-equipped ambulance van in the near future is being considered by the college management. The hostel utility block houses a dispensary wherein Dr. Mrs. Ujwala A. Hake, a Medical Officer, is available on certain days of the week.

Library:

The College boasts a well-equipped library with around 1,50,000 books on various curricular and co-curricular subjects. In addition, the College also subscribes to a large number of journals and magazines. The students take advantage of a large reading hall in the library.

I.T Infrastructure:

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. A separate computer laboratory is maintained for them with 10 computers with NOAA software, recorders, players, and headphones. They can use the facility to listen to audio tracks of study material and also practice on their own.

Cafeteria:

The College Canteen is a large spacious area, with a view of greenery all around, and a variety of refreshments and meals available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects.

Auditorium:

The College Tata Assembly Hall is a magnanimous structure with a seating capacity of over 700 people. It is used by all institutions on the campus for social and cultural events, conferences, examinations, and other events.

Alumni Associations:

The college has good networking for the alumni association. The college has a long list of alumni who participate in the management through the association known as the EXW wading association. This association participates in almost all levels of management such as organizing fundraising programs and campus development.

Laboratories:

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Overall 47 laboratories are available on the campus. well-equipped laboratories: for exploring science through experimentations and projects. Students undertake internships in industries and participate in industry projects and fieldwork Several curricular activities like report writing, seminars, quizzes, debates, group discussions, and group projects encourage collaborative learning.

Wifi:

The College has an Internet and WiFi facility provided in the reading rooms in the hostels. The hostel students can also make use of the internet facilities on their laptops/ mobiles in the college. WiFi is available for the Computer Science and MCA students in their respective laboratories.

Convenience Store:

The college has an Examination section or College is well-equipped to print and photocopy the question papers in-house. This has led to greater confidentiality in the examination process. The high-end photocopier was purchased to facilitate the in-house printing of question papers.

Parking Facility:

The college has a parking space for the students that is made available on the campus. The two-wheeler parking stand is adjacent to the main gate of the College because of which there is no possibility of students bringing their vehicles deep inside the campus and causing air or sound pollution.

Faculty: 

Well, the teachers in my stream at least are at least MSc graduates to Ph.D. holders. There are approximately 10 lecturers in any subject like Physics, Maths, Chemistry, etc. They have experience in the work and are really good at it. The average age of the faculty members is around 24-45 I guess. They do have industry experience.

Placement: 

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. The companies visit for placement like Infosys, tata, tech mahindra and etc. The average package is 5lpa and the high highest package goes to 25lpa. The students get placement who'll are above 80%. After I take the degree I am gonna work at Infosys company.
