About National Post Graduate College, Lucknow 

The National Post Graduate College was founded in  1974 by the late Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,  Chandra Bhanu Gupta. The college is located near the banks of the Gomti River in the heart of the city it has a leafy campus and is surrounded by a number of leading academic and administrative institutions. In a city of 16 universities and more than 150 undergraduate colleges, National P.G. The college is the only college that benefits from the highest  CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) status and is an autonomous state.

Sport

Sports spiced with physical education is an integral part of the academic curriculum which it is undeniably and beyond all levels of discussion incomplete without extracurricular activities. There is a  permanent full-time faculty for Sport and Physical Education below whose qualified guide and direction various sports activities, competitions, tournaments, and events are organized. Students receive adequate training to participate in indoor and outdoor games. Inter-collegiate graduate cricket tournaments and annual sports requirements are taught by the Department of Sports and Physical Education. Students are provided with equipment and facilities to participate in sporting events organized by other agencies and higher education institutions. Special training is given to female students for self-defense.

Magazines and Publications

Abhivyakti is an annual college magazine. Students and teachers contribute to the publication by presenting their original writings including poems, short stories, articles, short stories, and material on other topics of interest. The magazine also features various sports, extracurricular activities, and major events from the previous year in college, such as color and monochrome photography. Extraordinary achievements of the students along with their photographs are also published in the college magazine "Abhivyakti ". There are Messages from the Principal, the manager of the college and some other person of repute.
