NPR College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul was established in 2008. College is dedicated to extending value-added and contemporary education in the diverse disciplines of engineering and technology. The institution was established in 2008 by Titan Educational Trust with the exalted aim of uplifting rural students to excel in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Facilities and Infrastructure

ATM:

An ICICI Bank ATM is functioning on the college premises, which caters to all the financial needs of the staff and students. The college provides 24-hour ATM facilities on the campus itself.

Campus Wi-Fi:

Apart from the computer laboratories set up for syllabus programs the Institutes have provided computer centers for general purposes and learning during extra hours. This includes Internet Facilities available through leased lines and Wi-Fi for providing continuous and uninterrupted Internet connectivity to students and faculty members on the campus. These facilities are also available to students beyond college hours for the preparation of seminars & projects and research-orientated work. The entire campus including the hostels is Wi-Fi enabled and students can access the internet on their laptops 24*7 with a speed of 100 Mbps.

A/C Auditorium:

The air-conditioned auditorium has a capacity of 300 seating and an excellent stage with a 12*12 Wall mount Screen, a Cube Audio System, and Wi-fi to be used for all functions/events. 

Turf Ground:

The institution has an international Turf Cricket Ground(Flood Light ) with a 10000 seating capacity, in which Ranji, Under 19, and TNPL matches are being played. Many global super mega-celebrity cricketers would love to play their fits on this ground.

Transportation:

Excellent Transportation is one of the unique features of this institution. We have 51 buses flying to 4 Districts (Dindigul, Batalagundu, Vedasanthur, Madurai, Melur, Singampunari, and Thuvarankurchi) to bring students to and fro. The College’s buses are immaculately maintained with daily check-ups on cleanliness and safety. In fact, NPR’s transportation is considered to be one of the best and functions as a benchmark for others. Our college has its own buses in good condition for boys and girls separately with well-experienced drivers to ensure safety and comfort.

GYM:

Physical fitness has been given utmost importance for the students. There are well-equipped international standard Gyms separately for men/women students and staff with the latest equipment in the well laid out in-door Gym units. In order to encourage Weight lifters, Body builders, and Fitness seekers, the following sophisticated equipment designed scientifically for the above purpose is made available. 

Canteen:

The college cafeteria with a built-up area of 1000 sq. m has three spacious sections separately for men students, women students, faculty, and visitors. These three sections together can accommodate 500 members at a time. The canteen (cafeteria) is located within the campus with hygienic food, purified drinking water, comfortable ventilation, toilet facility.

Hostel:

The institution has 3 hostel blocks which include 1 Gents Hostel and 2 Lady's Hostels, which are provided with a Reverse Osmosis drinking water facility, Washing Machine zero-power cut facility. One ambulance with Stretcher and Oxygen cylinder is available in the hostel to take care of the emergencies of the students and staff of the institution. The hostels also have provisions for indoor and outdoor games and other facilities like Photocopying, Stationery, and a General store.

Library:

The Library and Information Centre of NPR College of Engineering & Technology has set its objective “To Satisfy the User Community and improve Digital Knowledge Management”. In our library, all the activities are fully automated by the AUTOLIB software including OPAC (On-Line Public Access Catalogue) and Barcode Scanner for circulation.
