NSS College, Nilamel is one of the arts and science schools supported by the Nair Service Society founded by Bharath Kesari Sri. Mannath Padmanabhan. The buildings are modern and equipped with the latest technology from NSS College, Nilamel, which facilitates teaching and teacher development. The classrooms, units, and laboratories of NSS College, Nilamel are spacious, comfortable, and designed to ensure the highest quality of education. The library is excellent too, with a huge range of books, online resources, and knowledgeable librarians.

Library: 

With the founding of the department, a college library is created. In 2009, the library was moved to a new library building and began operating as a central library in an automated environment. At present, the library is one of the best of its kind in affiliated colleges of Kerala University and is suitable for college graduates with a collection of more than 46,000 volumes of materials including books, CD-ROMs, journal archives, maps, atlases and globes, etc. The library offers its services to the scholars of the Uta Research Center. Kerala. The library essentially consists of three areas, namely the magazine area, the reference area, and the periodical area. In the stack room, the books are arranged according to a thematic catalog. The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme was used to classify the items. Books in the library area can be viewed during library opening hours. The periodicals department has almost all current newspapers and the library currently subscribes to 25 periodicals and other supplements. Members can use this area at any time. 

Computer center: 

The college has a data center on campus. Students have the opportunity to learn IT applications as part of their regular studies and to use the Internet for research and work projects at reduced rates. Another computer lab for B.Sc. Physics also came about through a UGC grant. 

Digital classroom: 

The college has three digital classrooms. This room is equipped with a computer, a multimedia projector, an interactive digital whiteboard, Internet, and a LAN connection. Teachers can access the Internet during class and provide students with the latest information and references.
