NCER is part of Nutan Maharashtra Vidya Prasarak Mandal which is a highly respected education society in Maharashtra and is credited with starting national education schools in the Maval Region of Pune district over 100 years ago. The superb freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak changed into the founder member of the Mandal and changed into the Chairman of its Governing Body for nearly 12 years.

NCER has a highly furnished in-campus hostel facility for the boys and girls coming outside. Each hostel will be carefully and strictly managed by its wardens. Admission

Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained by the student in the last qualifying exam. Admission to NCER is totally based on merit and the entrance exam, candidates can also visit the website of NCER and go to the Admission Enquiry section. They can pay the application fee through online mode (Net Transfer/ Credit Card/ Debit Card). Candidates require a minimum of 50 % marks in 10+2 boards. Candidates who belong to backward class categories should have a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2 board. Only candidates with a disability who belong to Maharashtra require 45% marks in 10+2 boards.

Placements

In NCER campus placement drives are held to help students to get their dream companies and get placed in them. The minimum salary package offered by the companies to students is INR 23 LPA.
