Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2008. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and the Maharashtra Government's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) have both recognized the institute. It is part of Pune's Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). There are four undergraduate courses offered by the institute. About Research and Innovation

The Research & Development (R & D) Cell of NMIET facilitates and encourages research culture among the faculty and students. Its prime role is to promote research through a range of publications. It permits congenial surroundings for technological improvement and video display units for the study sports of in the college. The R&D Cell takes upon the responsibility of creating a workplace to attract the best talent and strives continuously in pooling skills and internal resources, creating a strategy, overcome limitations, and make the college proud to be amongst the best institutions.

Residential Accommodations:

NMIET has a highly furnished in-campus hostel facility for the boys and girls coming outside. Each hostel will be carefully and strictly managed by its wardens. Well maintained college canteen is very close to the hostels. The food quality is verified by the Food committee for NMIET from time to time so that students will get good quality food. Accommodation is available for 196 students.
