I.T Infrastructure

The student’s common rooms are located in different blocks of the University Halls of Residence. There are indoor sports facilities such as a Snooker table, Pool table, Foosball table, Table Tennis table and many other board games. The common rooms are equipped with large state-of-the-art projection screens for playing movies, television shows, presentations, music, etc. There are provisions for arranging small birthday parties with the prior approval of the Warden. The common rooms are manned by one attendant round-the-clock for any assistance needed. The rules and regulations of the common room are filed in a document that is available with the attendant and needs to be adhered to while students are present in the common room.

The Global Library aims to play a proactive and important role in the teaching-learning process. It occupies about 10000 square feet of area in the T-2 Block of the Academic Building.

The Library has a collection of about 48000 print volumes and an array of electronic resources. The print collection includes books, monographs, research reports, law reports, and back volumes of periodicals etc. In addition to professional reading, the library provides a good amount of leisure reading and books for soft skills development. All subjects related to the University’s academic and research programmes have been included in the collection. Print resources of the Library have been divided into General Collection and Reference Collection.

The university has a permanent health centre with all essential equipment and round-the-clock assistance available for students. The 3500 sq. ft. Health Centre has separate male and female wards, consultation rooms, physiotherapy treatment rooms, counselling rooms, meditation rooms and sample collection rooms. It has a strong team of qualified medical practitioners including four doctors, eight nursing staff, two physiotherapists, and two student counsellors to provide all the necessary healthcare services. Specialist doctors who specialize in ENT, Gynecology, Orthopedics etc. visit the health centre once a month to provide specialized consultation services at the Campus. A full-time medical residential medical officer and nurses are on duty 24×7. The on-campus pharmacy near the Health Centre is open every day.

Admission

•10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% from any discipline (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and other Government Recognized Boards).

•Applicants are selected through a holistic admissions process based on a personal statement, supplemental questions, Grade 10 and 12 Marks, Interview, and JSAT Score or equivalent (SAT /ACT /LSAT-India).

•M.A./M.Sc. (Applied Psychology) – 50% marks in any undergraduate degree (B.A./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Tech/B.Sc. or any other undergraduate programme recognized by UGC.

•M.R.Sc. (Rehabilitation Sciences) – Graduate in B.R.Sc.(Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science)/ B.M.R./B.Sc. Special Education/ B.Ed. Special Education/ B.S.W./ or any other undergraduate programme recognized by UGC). A minimum of 55% aggregate in the qualifying exam.

•M.Sc. (Psycho-Social Rehabilitation) – Graduate in Social Work Psychology Sociology Nursing Home Science Occupational Therapy or any Graduate with Behavioural & Social Sciences as one of the major subjects of study. A minimum of 55% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
