Oriental Institute Of Science And Technology - [OIST], Bhopal Admission 2023-24

  1. B. Tech 1st year admission is based on state-level counseling through JEE Main as well as college-level counseling on the basis of the percentage secured in the class 12th exam. 
  2. It is mandatory for applicants to register online with the Directorate of Technical Education here for the counseling process in order to be considered for admission at OIST.
  3. Candidates may apply through online as well as offline modes.
  4. For admission to the B.E program, a valid score in PET conducted by M.P state or JEE Main is required.
  5. The institute also offers admission in M.Tech and MCA programs on the basis of scores of GATE and Pre-MCA examinations.

OIST B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have completed the Senior Secondary level with an aggregate score of 45% (40% for reserved category students), having studied PCM.

OIST B.Tech Selection Process
  1. The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh conducts the centralized counseling and allocates seats to eligible applicants.
  2. For seat allocation applicants should register themselves for counselling and lock the seats.
  3. Selected candidates can take admission on the date with the required documents.

 (OIST), Bhopal Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility requirement for admission to the M.Tech program is a B. Tech degree in relevant specialization from a recognized institution.

OIST M.Tech Selection Process

  1. Selection is on the basis of a valid score in the GATE examination followed by state/college level counseling.
  2. Seats are allocated after the online counseling process conducted by DTE-MP.
  3. In a situation where seats are left vacant due to the unavailability of GATE-qualified candidates, non-GATE applicants are considered for admission on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying examination.
  4. Reservation of seats: 65% - MP State quota, 20% All India quota, 15% Management & NRI quota.

OIST MCA Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants for the MCA program at OIST should have completed a recognized BCA degree.
  2. They should also have appeared for a Pre-MCA Examination.
