Pacific Dental College and Hospital is the first self-financed private dental college based in Rajasthan, India established in the year 2000. The Dental College is affiliated to PAHER University Udaipur, Rajasthan. The college provides a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) professional degree, as well as accredited postgraduate programs (MDS) in all nine dental specialties. All dental courses and syllabi are recognized by The Government of India, as well as by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

Hostel

Pacific dental college provides a safe and secure in-campus residential facility with 24-hour security watch and biometric machines to regulate the entry and exit of students from campus. The college campus has seven hostels with well-furnished rooms having attached bathrooms and toilets. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, including different ones for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Library

The central library of Pacific Dental College and Hospital, one of the best among various dental institutions in Northern India, offers timely, accurate, and current information to users for education, teaching, and research. To acquire, manage, and disseminate health sciences information to students, faculty, and research scholars, the library has been renovated, which spreads over 8600 sq feet and can accommodate 350 users at a time. The Library holds over 11,000 volumes on dentistry, as well as the basic sciences and selected medical specialties. Its collection of over 5,000 books and 6,000 bound journal volumes date back to the mid-1900s and are international in scope.

Cafe/Mess Facility

Inside the campus, two cafeterias provide delicious and hygienic food for students & Staff members. They provide food at a very nominal price.

Transport Facility

The college has its fleet of buses, which punctually bring students from different corners of the city to the college at a nominal cost. At present, it owns five buses which are likely to be increased as per requirements.

Admission

Eligibility For M.D.S. Programme

A candidate for admission to the MDS course (Master of Dental Surgery) must have a recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) awarded by an Indian University in respect of a recognized dental college, under section 10(2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council. Candidates not possessing a recognized dental qualification for the above purpose should secure the prior approval of their qualifications by the Dental Council of India (DCI) before they can be admitted to the MDS course of any University in India.

Eligibility For B.D.S. Programme

For BDS Admission no candidate shall be allowed to the dental curriculum of the first-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course unless they fulfill the following criteria:

She/he shall be a minimum age of 17 years on, or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course.

She/he must have passed the 10 + 2 Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) and passed in English subject.

Candidates must have satisfied NEET eligibility criteria and qualify NEET exam.
