Besides these programs, PIT extends admissions to candidates seeking enrollment in the Ph.D. course across 19 areas of specialization.

Admission to the B.Tech program is contingent upon the candidate's performance in either the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET). Alternatively, students can participate in the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) counseling, where seat allotment is based on their JEE rank. Admission to the M.Tech program necessitates a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

For Ph.D. admissions, the institute evaluates candidates based on their past academic records. Additionally, candidates undergo Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds as part of the final selection process.
