Paramekkavu College of Arts and Science is a subsidiary of the Sree Paramekkavu Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust, which has been a major contributor to education for over three decades.  It is a newly opened college founded in 2013 by a group of progressive leaders from Thrissur. This dream project came true only with the blessing of Paramekkavil Amma and is named after the almighty Paramekkavu Bhagavatha who is the goddess of learning, wisdom power, and peace.  Located in the heart of Thrissur, near the Paramekkavu Temple, College is inspired by the Paramekkavil Amma, whose blessings are sure to guide and motivate students, staff, and management.  

The management and staff of the university, through their constant and tireless efforts, strive to educate young students into a group of worthy citizens who can demonstrate their excellence as administrators, managers, doctors, engineers, teachers, etc.  Sanction granted for being granted affiliation by Calicut University to commence a new self-funded arts and sciences course in the 2013-14 academic year pursuant to University Regulations 2436/2013 / dated 07/03/2013. based on GO(Rt) no. 1144/2013/HEdn.  of June 26, 2013, which the CNO issued at the start of the study.
