The Pedanandipadu college of arts & sciences was started in 1968.
It is located within the Panchayat limits of Pedanandipadu village catering to the educational needs of nearly 20 villages situated within a radius of 5 Miles. It is sponsored and founded by the Pedanandipadu Educational Development Company, registered under the Sri Y Registration Act. Ranganayakulu Chowdary as President, Sri T.Krishnamma Chowdary BA., B.L, a retired district judge as secretary and correspondent and Sri D.Venkatarangam as treasurer.

Pedanandipadu college of arts & science, Guntur of courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e BA, B.Com, B.sc, etc.), Postgraduate Degree (i.e MCA, etc.) and PhD and many more. Residential Accommodation
Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with Wi-Fi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and car are always available to meet emerging customer needs. A well-equipped gym is established so that the students of the inn develop the physical ability of boys and girls. They also have indoor play facilities. A hygienic mess is attached to the hostels. The rooms are spacious and airy. Furious Free Campus.
The Library
The College Library contains 50,000 volumes on different subjects, of which about 300 volumes were benevolently given by Sri Guda Punnaiah, Nagulapadu and 500 Volumes were given by the authorities of United States Reading Rooms, Guntur. It is also worth mentioning here that Former Secretary and Correspondent, Sri. T. Krishnamma Chowdary, B.A., B.L, donated about 200 Volumes to cherish the beloved memory of his daughter Miss. T. Kanya Kumari, Sri J. Venkatewarlu, M.Sc., PhD. Formerly Lecturer in chemistry, J.K.C College, Guntur has donated munificently about 200 English, Telugu and Science books to our Library, The Library is regularly Updated with UGC Grants.
Medical Services and Health Center
Students & Staff Member's health care activities were monitored by the Local P H Staff every day, also distribute the Vitamins and Folic acid capsules to the students and maintains the record. During the Covid-19 pandemic time, they conducted several Vaccination Drives for the students & staff members i.ee all are vaccinated with 2 doses.
Sport
The department is well equipped with all Sports Articles. The Department has one specious Department Room in which a good 16 stations Multi – Gymnasium well Gym equipment is located. A Vast play Ground Volley Ball Courts, Kabaddi courts, Cricket Pitch and Running track, Indoor Games like Chess, Carroms, Table Tennis are provided. The Games & Sports facilities are provided for both men & women for all courses.
Pedanandipadu college of arts & science, Guntur accept admission through various entrance exams like Common Entrance Exam.
