Pavai College of Technology is one of the most popular engineering colleges among the three operated by the Pavai Group of Institutions. The college has four main branches and including mechanical engineering, civil engineering, ECE, and EEE. The college strives towards emerging in the form of a model institution that can play an important role in producing well-groomed and intelligent students who are professionally competent and socially responsible.
Pavai College of Technology (PCT) was started in 2009. It is the third engineering college of Paavai Institutions. It is affiliated with Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, and part of the Paavai Institutions along with Paavai College of Engineering, Paavai Engineering College, and Paavai School of Engineering. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NAAC, and accredited by Anna University, Salem.
Courses offered by colleges are B. Tech Civil Engineering, BTech Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, B Tech Mechatronics Engineering, M.Tech Computer Science Engineering MTech Engineering Design, MTech Engineering Design, MTech VLSI Design.
Hostel
The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe, and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished. the college has 4(four) ladies' hostels accommodating 1400 (one thousand four hundred) and above borders and 7(seven) boys' hostels with 2500 and above borders. Both the hostels have round-the-clock Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facility. Proper hygienic conditions and strict supervision are maintained throughout.
Transportation
College has its dedicated transport for the day scholars, covering the entire city. Route plans are chalked out keeping in mind the convenience of the students. The institute has deployed twelve medium-sized buses so as to save time for students commuting to and from the institute.
Personality Development:
The Institute makes all-out efforts to bring out the hidden talents of the students and nourish in them leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a developed personality so that they grow up as professionals of global standards to flourish in their professional careers.
Yoga & meditation
Holding regular yoga sessions and meditation practices is also a feature to encourage students for developing their individual talents and health. This is also aimed at building their positive attitude and providing them relief from feelings of burden and disappointment, if any.
Multi-gym
The gym has the latest equipment aided by trainers and physiotherapists for guided exercise for students and staff.
