Admission

PB College of Engineering gives BE in eight specializations and B.Tech in Information Technology at the UG level. At the PG level, the college offers M.Tech in 4 specializations. Lateral Entry in BE is also offered by the college.

For BE, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics as the main subjects to be eligible for admission.

Admission to BE is done based on TNEA, conducted by Anna University. For admission to ME, applicants ought to have a BE/ B.Tech degree with 50% marks to be eligible.

Admission to ME is done based on a valid score in TANCET.

Admission is also done through a valid score in GATE.

First Generation Graduate Scholarship

Tamil Nadu Government has granted a Tuition Fee waiver to first-generation graduate students admitted to First Year B.E. / B. Tech. / B. Arch. degree courses under the government quota through Single Window Counseling and also to First Generation Graduate Students admitted to Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) undergraduate quota through Single Window Counseling from the academic year 2010 – 2011 onwards.
