Regular monitoring of the student’s Academic performance will be there in order to ensure they are progressing well, and to identify any difficulties at an early stage.
People's College of Paramedical Science and Research Centre (PCPS) courses are offered at various levels like Diploma Degree i.e Diploma in Dialysis Technology etc., Undergraduate Degree i.e Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) etc., Postgraduate Degree i.e MPT (Neurology) and many more. • The School of Paramedical Science & Research Girls Hostel is situated well within the main campus of University. All the rooms are well furnished with modern amenities such as wooden cot, mattress with pillows, bed-spreads, individual cup-boards, chair-table with lamp for study purpose and wall hangers. Each room is provided with bath and toilet facilities, wash basin and mirror.
• A hygienic canteen with state of the art facilities is available for dining within the Girls Hostel premises. An entertainment hall with LCD- TV, indoor game facilities, reading room with News Papers and popular magazines are some of the distinct additions. The Hostel is connected with communication facilities such as land-line telephone and Wi-Fi internet access.
• Further, for the benefit of the hostellers, the College Main Library and the Computer Centre are kept open till 9:00 pm, which can be effectively utilized to widen their knowledge and skill.
• With all the above facilities, we are sure, that the girls will feel more at home and concentrate on their studies, facilitated by the serene atmosphere, filled with greenery, surrounding the Hostel.
Library:PCPS has a well equipped library with an extensive collection of text books and reference books of physiotherapy, paramedical, health and nutrition, first aid and other medical subjects etc.All students will have the privilege to issues books on librarian permission or to utilize reading room during library periods or free hours.
Practical Labs:• Well equipped demonstration halls separately for Electro-therapy & Exercise therapy (in addition to Physiotherapy department, where students will be directly exposed to patients) For all the programs detailed labs, demonstration & patient’s exposure are available in associated People’s Hospital, Bhanpur, Bhopal.(950 bedded)
Psychological Cell:PCPS&RC provides an Expert Psychologist to students for Counseling of the students so that the students get benefitted in various situations like, personal-social- family- psychological problems and issues, home sickness, depression, hesitation, tension, anxiety, emotional sentiments, fear from any subject, lack of confidence in any subject presentation, stage phobia, problems in speaking, learning, working, studying in English, discourage, Personality clashes, time management, anger management, stress management, study scheduling, Overall personality development etc. in order to improve enthusiasm, self-control, optimism, self-confidence, better memory and concentration, motivation and encouragement, team spirit and Co operation etc. Students are free to discuss the problem frankly to the PSYCHOLOGIST with privacy and confidentiality. The psychologist shall positively advice, consult, guide & counsel the student/client.
