Periyar EVR College (PEVRC), Tiruchirappalli was established in the year 1965 by the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Honourable M. Bhakthavachalam. The college is also known as PEVRC Tiruchirappalli. It is a state government autonomous college situated in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. PEVRC Tiruchirappalli campus is spread over an area of 52.62 acres of land. The college has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. PEVRC Tiruchirappalli is affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The college is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Periyar EVR College, Tiruchirappalli offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in arts, humanities and social sciences, commerce, sciences, computer application and IT, media, mass communication, and journalism streams.
