This institution is facilitated with a library that contains several books on the subjects of study along with Periodicals, Magazines, and Daily Newspapers both in Tamil and English. This College Library has been automated through MODERNLIB software with Bar code Technology. It is maintained properly by a qualified Assistant Librarian. The total number of books available at present is 7494 in Tamil, Mathematics, Tourism, History, Computer Science, English, Commerce, Encyclopedia, General knowledge, Competitive Examination, etc. The Reading Room is also provided with two computers with Internet Connectivity for the use of students in their free time.

Our College library is facilitated with the "Book Bank Scheme" for the welfare of Schedule Caste Students. Each Student has the facility of taking two more books apart from the usual two books taken on tickets. He/She can retain the books till the end of each semester. He/She can take another two books only after returning the books which were already taken.

The college had well-organized play fields and they could engage 200 students at a time. There was provision for a newly constructed Athletics 200-meter track and field with 100 meters straight, a Cricket ground with Pitch, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball grounds, besides indoor games like Chess and Carrom.

There is a retiring room for girl students. Those unwell and in need of rest may take a break and relax in this room. This room was a retreat for the girl students. It is in a convenient location with maximum privacy for the girls. The rooms are facilitated with the basic needs of furniture, a cot, a fan, and a first aid kit box. Purified drinking water is also provided.

Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Arts College has installed a state of art “Ladies Retiring Room” funded by RUSA during the academic year 2017-18. The following facilities are made available for the lady staff and students who get benefitted from this exclusive facility. The retiring room consists of a first aid box, fridge, cot with mattress, induction stove, casseroles, and napkin vending machine which can be put to judicious use as and when appropriate. An Air Conditioner or an air cooler will be installed in due course. The retiring room instills a sense of comfort and assurance in the lady faculties and especially in the students who travel a long and tedious journey and often face unprecedented health issues. This cozy cocoon has started to function to the benefit of the womenfolk on the college campus.

The college has a spacious auditorium that accommodates about 200 audiences at the same time with a wall-mounted projector and electronic podium. It has been designed to provide good acoustics for many types of performances such as conducting meetings, functions, inter-Collegiate programs, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and cultural programs.
