Pes Institute Of Technology And Management (PESITM), Shimoga College hostel blocks were inaugurated in the year 2007. Separate hostel blocks can accommodate about 1120 students. (Boys-544) houses an office, security, and residential wardens. Good student housing allows the student to take their minds off day-to-day living issues like power, food transportation to college, laundry, and security. We ensure that students dwell in a healthy environment that helps them to grow and learn without any obstacles. Parents are at peace knowing their child is well cared for and secure in a nurturing and homely environment. Accommodation for boys and girls is provided separately with all modern amenities. Students are requested to book their preferred choice of location and type of accommodation well in advance to secure their choice. Hostel rules have been framed keeping in mind the local culture and traditions, to guide and help students to attain standards of implacable conduct.

Placement 

Pes Institute Of Technology And Management (PESITM), Shimoga Placement the students who are in the 7th Sem will be eligible for campus placement the placement training sessions will be conducted for every year students but the actual placement drives all start by the 7th semester. The placement of our college has been increased recently this year almost there was a 90% placement. There were students with more than 5 opportunities also. My plan is to get placed in good company during my degree I hope I may do it. This year the highest package offered was 10 lac per annum by jus company.

Admission

PES Institute of Technology and Management is offering education in the Engineering and Management field. PESITM presently offers B.Tech in 6 disciplines at the UG level, and at the PG level college offers M.Tech in 2 disciplines and an MBA program. PESITM is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers Nine UG Programs, Two PG Programs, and Nine Research centers.

Eligibility:

1. Students who have passed the PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry /Computer Science / Electronics/ Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category as per Government order) in the above subjects taken together.

2. Lateral Entry to Second Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE-approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

3. For admission under the management quota, students should compulsorily appear in CET/COMEDK/JEE or any other entrance test for the professional program.
