Students who are enrolled in the universities' colleges tend to prefer to live in hostels because the majority of them come from a rural backgrounds. The hostels are all equipped with excellent boarding and lodging facilities. Students from abroad, International Hostels with necessary facilities are available. Boys and girls are housed in separate hostels at each campus. The undergraduates are housed on a two-bedroom basis. The PG students have single rooms. The hostels are equipped with indoor sports and games facilities. The hostels are all well maintained and have libraries, television halls Wi-Fi and internet access and dining halls, a solar heating systems as well as water purification facilities as well as a gym facility. The food served to inmates is nutritious, clean and regularly monitored. The food waste is handled by student representative.
The sports complex in Rajendranagar is spread across 30 acres. It is home to well equipped outdoor and indoor stadia for tennis ball, tennikoit ball and badminton. It also has cricket, archery, etc. All the games and sports equipment is available to students. The necessary motivation is given to participants to maintain their fitness. In addition, there is an Gymnasium that is well-equipped located in the complex. The intercollegiate sports and games annual meet is held for UG & PG students and specifically for students of polytechnics. Students are also invited to take part in the State or National Youth festivals. Majority of the colleges that are part of the University are well-maintained athletic fields and indoor facilities for games.
The University Health Centre at Rajendranagar is well-established with an observation rooms, inpatient and outpatient facilities pharmacy, pathological labs and two ambulances for any medical emergency. The doctors are employed on contractual basis to care for the patients. Outstation colleges are equipped with basic amenities at the health center that provide care to students. In case of emergency the patients are sent to hospitals nearby.
There is a large Alumni consisting of Civil servants, academicians, politicians, entrepreneurs and Administrators, and others. who are willing to serve the institution by assisting with assignments, sponsoring of Gold medals for the most meritorious students, etc. The Alumni meet is organized regularly. Recently, the linking alumni of different universities is in the process of being done online under supervision of the university administration.
In the hope of instilling the concept of service in students, the University includes the presence of 22 NSS units. Under the direction under the supervision of NSS Programme Officers NSS Programme Officers, the NSS volunteers participate in various camps, such as Blood donation camp, Health camps, Animal Health Camps and Women and Child Welfare camps, and so on. as well as participate in rallies that raise attention to social issues. Volunteers also take part and take part in National as well as State NSS festivals bringing laurels to the University.
Admission to the course is merit-based and entry-based. Test scores that can be that are accepted for admission include the TS EAMCET, AGRICET and entrance tests conducted by ICAR.
The placement cell within the different colleges of the university is the primary source for students leaving (UG and students in PG) to look for jobs, especially for the sector of the private, such as pesticides, seeds fertilizer and pesticide industries, etc. The placement cell gives assistance to students in obtaining job opportunities. The other work of the unit include regular communication with industry offering the necessary soft skills and training to prepare to prepare for interviews. In addition to the private sector employment, students are also enrolled in government and public sector companies through competitive exams. The students of Home Science are getting placement in various organizations/sectors as Dieticians, designers, quality control analysts, health counselors etc. In contrast students from those who are Polytechnic students are employed as AEO as well as absorbed into private companies.
