Y. & M. AKI's Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) is a linguistic & religious minority educational institution started in the year 1990 to provide quality education in the field of Management and Information Technology.

PIMSE offers a variety of valuable courses (Full-time PG Programme) such as MBA, MBA-IT (Formerly Known as MCM), and MBA-HRD (Formerly Known as MPM).

PIMSE is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and the courses offered are approved by AICTE, New Delhi & recognized by DTE, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai.

1. Classrooms

The institute has spacious classrooms of different seating capacities which are equipped with modern aids of teaching. To enhance the presentation of lectures, seminars, and other academic exercises, the institute has a good audio-visual set-up, overhead projectors, LCD, and sound systems to promote maximum interaction between facilitators and students.

The computer laboratory is fully air-conditioned and is well equipped with two hundred and thirty computers with the latest configuration and LAN facility. Strong UPS backup for all the machines so that the students can work without any disruption. All the machines have licensed software installed in them. The computer lab is accessible to students in the department round the clock, throughout the week.

1. The admission procedure in PIMSE is different for different courses.
2. The eligible students seeking admission to an MBA must have appeared in any of the entrance examinations like CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ JMET/ XAT/ ATMA/ AMMI-IET.
3. Eligible candidates can seek admission through Centralised Admission Process rounds conducted by DTE.
4. Students seeking admissions in MBA (IT), MBA (HRD), PGDBM & MMS need to appear for a personal interview. Those candidates who are found suitable will have to complete the admission formalities by submitting the relevant documents.
