In Coimbatore, the City famous for its Hospitality and Culture, P.Perichi Gounder Memorial Education and Charitable Trust (PPG Trust), a renowned, benevolent, Charitable, educational trust was established in the year 1992 by Dr.L.P.Thangavelu, M.S., a leading laparoscopic surgeon. It is an institution par excellence rendering yeomen service catering to the needs of budding youth and the underprivileged. The founder-chairman Dr.L.P.Thangavelu being the visionary and erudite educationist has encrypted in the DNA of the institution the poise to evolve into a paragon of perfection and excellence. With the able support of his wife Mrs.Shanthi Thangavelu as the Trustee the institutions under the banner of PPG are making strides in achieving and accumulating accolades and laurels.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

A library is the soul of every academic institution. PPGCAS, Coimbatore was started with great care to see that the library would be one of the finest libraries of technology and management in Coimbatore. PPG has plans for the library to grow steadily and uncompromisingly in the means of its resources, facilities, and services.

Computer Lab:

The fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art, sophisticated, and spacious computer center is a matter of tremendous pride for the college. Computer systems are interconnected through a Local Area Network to the centralized HP server. Linux and Microsoft Windows XP Professional co-exist as operating platforms. Printing and Scanning services are also available in the labs.

Auditorium:

The College has a huge indoor auditorium with a professionally applied sound system and seats about 200 people. The auditorium is proud to host several seminars at the national level. In addition, the Auditorium features a comfortable sound system and seating for approximately 200 people to host campus-level events. The auditorium is spacious, well-ventilated, and has a well-equipped hall. A regular venue for conferences, workshops, and seminars, this auditorium is a vast space with all the facilities to enhance the learning process and meet the diverse needs of quality education. The purpose of the auditorium is to improve the quality of education. To make this possible, the auditorium provides equipment such as LCD projectors and projection screens for lectures. It also provides ample opportunities for staff and students to showcase their talents through cultural activities.

Gym:

In addition to academics, the College also pays attention to the health and fitness of its students. The gym is a proud addition to the services and facilities offered to students. The College has invested in exercise equipment including elliptical machines, multi-function treadmills, and upright, incline, and stationary bikes.

Hostel:

The College has a separate hostel facility for boys and  Girls inside the campus with an accommodation capacity of 100 students with 25 rooms. A hygienic kitchen and mess facility is available inside the hostel.
