Rama Rao MA..M.Ed.,M.Phill., Ph.D(Edu)., the Chairman of Prabhas Educational Institutions has vast experience and knowledge in the corresponding field of Education since 30, years as Secretary and Correspondent of Rama Public School (EM) one of the Prestigious High schools in Vijayawada and also as Coordinator in different top Universities has come forward with a thought to establish colleges from Intermediate to PG level to the Educational needs to the students of weaker sections of the
Recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) & National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Residential Accommodation
The hostel is on campus. 32 living rooms can accommodate 5 students in each bedroom, equipped with a desk, chair and wardrobe. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms and sinks with running water. There are two dining rooms and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also on campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates
The Library
Prabhas Degree College, Vijayawada has its excellently equipped library housed in a second-storeyed building. It is adequately ventilated and furnished with a congenial academic ambience. The library has a collection of over 10,000 books, over 100 journals, over 500 memoirs, and 4,000 back issues of magazines and CDs and DVDs.
Computer Lab
The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.
Canteen
This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while. Not only delicious snacks but also stationery and other personal items are available here.
