Prajyoti Niketan Centre of the Supreme Light is a vision of Redeeming Love (God) as Light for life involved in daily struggles, and through them called to grow greater than one’s natural size to divine size (Mt.5.48), e.g. Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Theresa, in the process of becoming original responses to God’s Call, so that the sick, homeless, marginalized and those who generously respond to their cry may have life in its fullness/ wholeness Prajyoti Niketan is an International Centre for Research, Training and Service in Wholistic approach. It is a Registered Christian Charitable Society (Regd.N.806/91). Prajyoti Niketan Society owns and manages its College. In 1994, Dr. K.R. Narayanan, the then Vice-President of India laid the Foundation Stone for Prajyoti Niketan, and in 1996, Dr.Sankar Dayal Sharma, the then President of India initiated our Holistic Health Care Facility.

Laboratories:

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Language Lab. It is open to the students of all the other departments who wish to hone their communication skills and pronunciation especially while preparing for interviews and personality development sessions. Electronics Lab Students from the Electronics department use the facilities for their practical and project work.

Girls Hostel:

The college has a girls' hostel facility for all the students. Functioning inside the campus, of which one is run by Adoration nuns and the other, by the Manager. Both the hostels can accommodate 60 students each. The hostel that is run by nuns also provides accommodation to working women since there are not enough lodging facilities in Pudukad for women. Both the hostels are equipped with dormitories, single and double rooms, recreation halls, study halls, separate dining spaces for staff and students, visitors’ parlors, sick rooms, and warden’s rooms.

Wifi:

The College's entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and therefore students get ample opportunities to use the internet. Moreover, both the hostels have PCs with internet connectivity which the students can utilize at their convenience.

Faculty: 

Highly qualified with all faculty being Ph.D. holders. All teachers are post-graduation holders with NET, SET qualified holders teachers are selected by special interviews conducted by management with highly experienced senior faculty.

Placement: 

Campus placement is according to the interview based on the marks gained. the college will provide internships in the last two years to different companies like Wipro etc. It will be based on the campus placement.
