Our labs house over 679 high-end PCs running on Microsoft Windows 2k/XP and Linux with a dual-boot option, supported by Intel Core 2 Duo processors. Three servers in the server room function as an SMTP mail server, database server, and general-purpose server. The entire computer labs are interconnected through a high-speed switched Ethernet network.

E Classroom

In the 21st Century, the Internet is fundamental to all aspects of life, particularly in education. To cater to this need, we offer high-speed internet connectivity of 14Mbps, supported by a robust network of dedicated OFC links across our campuses. Our e-classrooms are spacious, with a conducive learning environment, and equipped with modern teaching aids such as LCD screens, NPTEL video courses, and multimedia projectors.

Digital Library

The library is the heart of our educational institution, serving as the focal point for all academic activities. Our computerized library houses thousands of books by renowned authors in various subjects. We regularly update our collection to include essential titles related to our courses, along with books on personality development, general knowledge, handbooks, yearbooks, and reference materials. Additionally, we subscribe to national and international subject journals, current interest magazines, and regional and national dailies to keep our students informed about global and field-specific developments. The library features a duplex layout, tasteful furnishings, and spacious reading halls accommodating up to 200 students, fostering a serene environment conducive to focused study and supplementing classroom learning.

Hostel

Prakasam Engineering College attracts students from all over the state, and our hostel aims to provide a homely atmosphere for them. Our well-furnished rooms are spacious and airy, with attached bathrooms, regular housekeeping, and telephone facilities, among other amenities. The hostel features a modern, eco-friendly design for both boys and girls, along with internet access, a digital library, gym facilities, and yoga sessions. Placement

•The Training and Placement Cell organizes a number of training programs for the students of all semesters with the help of in-house experts and resource personnel drawn from professional agencies. The activities have proved exceptionally useful in shaping the careers of students.

•Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) in our college from the year 2006 through the Institute of Electronic Governance, Hyderabad governing body of Andhra Pradesh. For many years, our students were selected by different reputed companies.JKC is training students in various concepts like aptitude, communication skills, and Interview skills.

•Associated with APSSDC, a unique organization formed as a public–private partnership (PPP) corporation to promote skill development & entrepreneurship in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Corporation now serves as the ‘Executive Agency’ for the newly formed Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation.
