Prathyusha Engineering College, Chennai popularly known as PEC – is a self-financed Telugu Minority Institution managed by Prathyusha Educational Trust, Chennai, approved by AICTE, affiliated to Anna University, accredited by NBA, and a recipient of ISO certification, located 30 km from Chennai Central Railway Station. The college was established in the year 2001.

Facilities and Infrastructure

PEC has the facility of spacious, clean, and hygienic canteens and cafeterias that cater to the taste of all students and staff. In mess, South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is hygienically prepared by trained chefs. The Menu is designed taking into consideration the nutritional and calorific requirements of the student. High emphasis is placed on Quality and Quantity. Separate dining facilities are provided for men and women with a seating capacity of 1500. We have an exquisite cafeteria for the sake of our students to provide them with a quality and hygienic variety of delicious food items at affordable rates. The Cafeteria is open from 8.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. on all days and it offers snacks during lunch/break time.

The college library is occupied on the First floor Second floor and Third floor of the building. Our Library is Spacious, well ventilated well lighted with a total area of 1745 sq.m. Open Access System is followed in the library.

PEC is located just 30 km away from Chennai Central Station on the Poonamalle – Tiruvallur road. The hostels in Prathyusha are truly a home away from home. Personalized care, meaningful and friendly inmate interaction, and a restful ambiance form part of the hostel life here. Huge and well-manicured lawns and paved walkways beckon the youngsters to refresh their minds. All rooms are spacious, Bright & clean with 2 beds along with study tables. The hostel mess caters to all the food & nutritional requirements of students. The menu for all meal sessions is changed regularly to provide variety. For security purposes, the hostel is fully equipped with CCTV cameras along with a security guard for 24 hours. Adequate drinking water facilities are available on each floor.

The College has a fleet of buses, vans, and cars connecting students and staff from everywhere in Chennai to our campus. All buses are installed by a speed governance system, which is certified by RTOs of various districts. The transport department is maintaining well-experienced drivers, cleaners, and mechanics under our management committee. We ensure comfortable and safe transportation among our students.

The college has about 1500 Hi-end computers all networked with LAN and internet services through wireless connectivity, LCD projection systems, hardware and software, printers, plotters, scanners, photocopying machines, digital cameras, and video cameras.

The entire campus is connected to the Internet with 100 Mbps bandwidth. The admin building has a wireless computing network. The campus has 1500 computers equipped in laboratories with TFT monitors.

The institute has a 24 x 7 ATM facility of Indian Bank for the benefit of students and staff.
