Pt J.N.M. Medical College Raipur came into existence on 9th September 1963 when the college was started with 60 students in a small OPD block of Ayurvedic College. On 30th September 1976, the construction of the new college building in its present location was completed with four modern lecture theatres fully equipped with audio-visual facilities, dissection halls, laboratories, a very well-stocked library, and complete indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The college has two auditoriums from that one auditorium have 500 capacity and the second one have 750 capacity fully equipped with modern audio-video equipment. Most of the scientific, social, and cultural gatherings are conducted in the auditorium around the year due to its ample capacity and central location. Apart from academic activities the student body actively participates in various extracurricular activities like sports, fine arts, literary events, drama, dances, etc.

Auditorium:

The college has 650 seated Auditorium beside the main building. It is the venue for most of the scientific, social, and cultural gatherings around the year. It is a famous auditorium of Raipur City which is also used by other Government and Private departments for many activities.

Faculty: 

The number of lectures varies according to your academic year they aren't fixed. The quantity and quality of the faculty here are remarkable there are many experienced professors in each and every department having great knowledge. Practicals are held regularly for the benefit of the students and even extra classes are taken when required.

Placement: 

Final-year and pre-final-year students are eligible for campus placement. Soft tech, Gujrat medicine, and Aarogya mantra by the Gujrat government project and many biotech companies visited our college, and around 50 to 60 offers were made to our college students. The average package is 200000 rs. per anum and the highest package is 600000 rs. per anum. The percentage of students getting a placement is 75% in our college and it's good compared to study. My plan is to get a master's degree after getting to bachelor's degree.
