P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker College of Engineering & Technology is the outcome of our great Philanthropist, the late Shri. P. T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker (1829 - 1874) with the sole aim of providing, Technical Education to the poor and oppressed people besides other social and religious activities.

The College is literally situated in Oovery, 8 km from Kancheepuram and 18 km from Arakkonam. The College is a private, self–financed Institution, affiliated with Anna University, and approved by AICTE. The College is a unit of P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Trust, Vepery, Chennai – 600 007. The Trust is governed by the board of trustees, appointed by the High Court. Our Trust is a public charitable trust that has taken up, providing education to socially neglected people as, its sole aim. Our college is offering the following courses

In order to develop sports activities, we conduct an annual feature please chengalvaraya trophy state-level Inter-collegiate tournament in ten disciplines for both men and women. We organize coaching camps for Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, Table-Tennis, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, and Athletic teams of our institution every year.

Hostels:

The hostel is available for boys with 300 capacity students, Hostel is available for girls with 150 capacity students. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Both hostels are located on the college campus itself. The hostels provide a calm atmosphere necessary for deep study. There is copious water available throughout the day. There are play fields for cricket, volleyball, and basketball where students spend time in sports activities.

Library:

The seating capacity of the Library is 150, Library has no. of books 14318, Number of Journals subscribed to is 38.

Cafeteria:

The mess menu will be finalized according to the convenience of the administration after receiving suggestions from students. Students are advised not to waste food items. The hostel residents are informed that the following is the mess time to dine in. Residents are not permitted to the dining hall other than during dining hours.
