Residential Accommodation

Separate hostels for boys and girls have been set up in the town of Ongole with all the necessary facilities to accommodate around 600 detainees as families. The hostel offers healthy and hygienic food, telephone, internet, 24-hour security and all kinds of shops. Inmates include students from different parts of the state. A university bus has been provided for student transportation.

The Library

The college has well established central library with a plinth area of 12,000 sq ft building. The central library has a rich collection of Books, National & International Print Journals, Magazines, e-journals, e-books, Video lectures through the EKLAVYA Technology satellite channel, DELNET membership with ILL, NPTEL video lectures, Fully automation with barcode technology for transactions, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), Digital library with 65 Mbps internet facility to 46 systems, reprographic facility, Online Print facility, Department libraries, Back volumes of periodicals, Project reports, CD's and Sc & St Book bank library books and all daily newspapers. 

Computer Lab

The requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilise the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for Powerpoint preparation.

Canteen

QIS Canteen is a self-service cafeteria operative since 2002. A diverse menu with a range of delicacies is offered at subsidized pricing. QIS is keen on adhering to its Health and Hygiene Policy and it is for this reason that the canteen is not outsourced but is monitored directly by the Institute. However, it is worthwhile mentioning here that the scope of the canteen is not deemed to be confined to merely satiating the appetite.

Games and Gymnasium

There is a provision for a gym and some indoor games items are available for the students. There is a period allotted to them, group wise and they utilize this gym as most of the students these days try to keep their body fit with some light exercises. So this place is very helpful for the students in maintaining a good physique and helps in having a sound mind and healthy body.
