Raghu Engineering College was established in 2001 and is located on an excellent pasture of 50 acres of land and is only 25 minutes from the RTC complex and railway station in Visakhapatnam, AP, India. It endeavours to equip its students with the conceptual, technical and managerial skills necessary for understanding emerging opportunities and meeting the ever-increasing demands and needs of the information technology and manufacturing industries.

Residential Accommodation

Educational institutions in Raghu provide hygienic accommodations for students within the premises of the institution. The boys' hostel has a capacity of 600 beds with  AC and non-AC categories, and the girls' hostel has a total of 250 beds. The hostel is administrated by the chief warden and aided by assistant wardens. Retired military personnel will be recruited for the positions of Chief Caretaker and Caretaker of the Boys' Home.

The Library

The library is the central hub of the Institute, fully air-conditioned and well-equipped to support and facilitate the teaching, learning and research programs of the Institute. Well stocked with the latest books, CDs/DVDs and research publications, the  REC Library is open to all students and faculty.
