Ranchi Women’s College has carved a niche for itself in the world of higher education for women in social sciences/ humanities, sciences and commerce. Emerging as a torch bearer in the field of Women's Education Ranchi Women’s College has grown to be a Centre of Excellence in the domain of higher education for women of Jharkhand, Bihar. West Bengal and Orissa. Another feather was added to its cap when this College got Autonomy Status by the UGC with effect from 2011-12.

Facilities and Infrastructure

Classrooms – 

These are well-ready and divided into numerous sections. These are digitalized with modern types of equipment, projectors, and computers. Students can shape their knowledge and talent inside it with various trained experts’ lectures from all over the country and world.

Labs – 

These are categorized and divided into various departments. Students can research new things and gain knowledge properly. These labs are having proper types of equipment, tools, and instruments.

Hostel – 

These are made for the student’s comfort and suitability. They can continue their relaxed study inside it. It has been divided into three bedrooms each for its students. It has proper electricity facilities with attached bathrooms.

Admission

For all the courses, admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam and personal interview conducted by the college. For B.Ed. admission, candidates need to qualify State Common Entrance Test followed by a personal interview, The application process is conducted offline. Once the form is submitted, applicants will have to wait for the announcement of the merit list whether they will get admission or not.
