Rane Group is an acknowledged leader in Indian Auto Component Industry. Founded in 1929, the Rane Group is Headquartered in Chennai, India. Rane Foundation, a Public Charitable Trust founded in the year 1967, is the main arm for Rane Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Rane Foundation's initiatives are focused on education, healthcare, the environment, and community development. One of the major initiatives of the Rane Foundation is the establishment of the Rane Polytechnic Technical Campus in Sethurapatti village, Tiruchirapalli. An eco-friendly building spread over a 7-acre campus with a built-up area of 7160 sq. mts is fully equipped with quality hard and soft infrastructure.

Computer center:

State-of-the-art computer center with the latest hardware and software facilities. The college is Wi-fi enabled and provides high-configuration computers with sleek CPUs & LCD monitors with Internet connectivity (100 Mbps).

Library:

RPTC Library is located on the ground floor of the Main Block and is spread over 350 sq.m. The Library has a good collection of books covering various branches of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, Science & Humanities, and General Books.

Well-furnished dining hall to accommodate 250 students maintained with hygienic RO drinking water.

Placement:

rd Semester onward placement program starts with a company presentation and guest lectures. The college conducts a huge lot of companies do visit. Also, Mechanical students received a lot of pool campus opportunities if they specifically targeted only mechanical colleges.
