Computer lab

The institution has a large Computer Lab with more than 60 computers that are configured with the latest operating system. Each computer is installed with various software packages like the latest version of Auto CAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, and other software that are related to architecture.

The Computer Lab is open from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, The A0 size Plotting, printing, photocopying, and scanning facilities are open to the students

The Computer Lab is provided with internet connectivity to facilitate the students for their research and presentation work. The labs also offer numerous general-purpose software packages and tools.

In addition to the development of fundamental competencies with regard to the use of computers, teaching also covers desktop publishing, image processing, animation, web design, and CAD. Teaching content is continually updated in line with major new developments and innovations. As a result, the know-how of the students, and hence the graduates, is always state-of-the-art

Studio

Ranganathan Architecture College has large spacious classrooms equipped with separate Drafting table facilities for each student. We provide a range of facilities to support our students in their studies.

For students, the classroom environment is very important. The size of the classroom and interior areas, the colors of the walls and flooring, the amount of light, and the room arrangement all influence how students learn.

Hostel

There are two hostels available to our Architecture Students one for boys named as Everest Hostel and one for girls named as Rainbow Hostel. The Boy's hostels have the capacity to accommodate 300 boys and the girl's hostel can accommodate 150 girls.

The hostels are provided with modern amenities such as Steel Cot, individual cupboards, etc. Each Floor is provided with Bathroom, Toilet, and Washbasin Facilities and washing facilities are arranged in separate areas.

Further, for the benefit of the hostellers, the College Main Library and the Computer Centre are kept open till 8:00 pm.

A hygienic canteen is available for dining within the premises. Indoor games, Outdoor games, and Gym facilities, newspapers, and popular magazines are available.
