REC admission 2023 is ongoing for the BTech program through TNEA Counselling. TNEA 2023 Round 03 Choice Filling for BE/BTech admissions is open till August 24. TNEA Round 03 tentative allotment will be released on August 25, 2023.REC offers B.E and B.Tech programs at the Undergraduate level and MBA and M.E programs are available at the postgraduate level. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with 50% marks to be eligible for B.E/ B.Tech AdmissionsThe selection of candidates in B.E and B.tech program will be done on the basis of TNEA score.Admissions will be granted on the basis of TNEA counselling.REC also offers an MBA program with an intake of 60 seats.Candidates, who have passed a graduate program in any discipline are eligible for admission.The M.E program is offered in 4 Electives.M.E. aspirants should have passed a Bachelor’s degree exam in the relevant field by obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates).Admission to MBA and M.E program will be offered on the basis of TANCET counselling conducted by Ranganathan Engineering College.

Eligibility Criteria Ranganathan Engineering College

MBA candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum duration of 3 years with at least a 50% aggregate score (45% in case of reserved category candidates).

REC MBA Selection Process

Admissions to the MBA Program will be offered on the basis of merit in the TANCET examination. Candidates having been shortlisted are required to appear for the TANCET counseling.

The TANCET exam is conducted offline and consists of 100 questions which are to be completed in 2 hours. The paper will be divided into five sections viz., Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Data Sufficiency.

How to Apply for MBA and ME at Ranganathan Engineering College?

The interested candidate needs to fill out the TANCET form online within the stipulated time period.
Candidates need to fill in the personal details that are asked in the application form. Similarly, fill in the academic details in the application form
Shortlist is declared by the institute of the selected candidates based on the exam score.
The selected candidates are required to complete the admission process by paying the full amount of fee and other charges. In case of failure to do so the admission will be revoked.
