Scholarships 

Regional Institute of Education, Mysore offers financial assistance to the candidates in the form of scholarships and education loans. Some of the scholarships are given below: Students belonging to SC & ST are provided scholarships, but he/she should not receive any other financial assistance from different sources other than this.50% of the students are awarded merit-based scholarships as per the rules of the institute. The amounts received are INR 800 per month for BSc.Ed, BA.Ed and MSc.Ed (I to VIII semesters), INR1200 per month for MSc.Ed. (IX to XII semesters) and MEd.20% of the remaining students are awarded freeship as per the rules. The selected candidate should submit the annual income certificate of their parents/guardians at the time of admission.

Admission

Admission in all the courses is done based on the NCERT-CEE entrance exam followed by an interview where the CEE score has 60% weightage and aggregate marks (concerned subjects) obtained in the last qualifying exam have 40% weightage.
