Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) is established in the year 2009 by Indira Charitable Trust, Thiruvananthapuram, which is offering a wide range of business and societal activities in Higher Education, Hospitality and Tourism, Construction, and Information Technology over the past few decades. RIET began its stride with four BTech programs in 2009 and now offers BTech programs in eight branches of Engineering and Technology, two MTech/Ph.D. programs in Civil Engineering, 2 year MBA program, 4-year BHMCT, and five 3 year Diploma programs.

library automation is entrusted to the LINWAYS software, which facilitates all internal library operations. The library uses a barcode-based lending system. All books are barcoded in the library and laser barcode scanners are used at checkout for book transactions. Students can borrow books with their ID.

Sports:

A healthy mind needs a healthy body. The club hosts annual on-campus sporting events and related competitions, as well as intercollegiate tournaments. RIET has facilities for football, cricket, table tennis, badminton, basketball, and volleyball.

Transportations:

The College offers its students an exclusive fleet of air-conditioned luxury buses, with the comfort of the students depending on them. Paths may be realigned upon request if such realignment is feasible and/or practical for students interested in the path.
