Rising to its present stature from very humble beginnings, Raghunath Girls’ Post-Graduate College was founded in 1929 by Shrimati Kripa Devi in memory of her late husband, Lala Raghunath Ji under the Kripa Devi Trust Fund as a small school in an area of 2.95 acres. It became a high school in 1932, and an intermediate secondary school in 1936. In 1948, it became a graduate college in Humanities and in 1958 the Science stream was introduced. It acquired Post-Graduate status in Humanities in 1959 and in Science in 1982.
Rising to its gift stature from very humble beginnings, Raghunath Girls’ Post-Graduate College changed based in 1929 through Shrimati Kripa Devi in reminiscence of her past due husband, Lala Raghunath Ji beneath neath the Kripa Devi Trust Fund as a small faculty in a place of 2.95 acres. It have become an excessive faculty in 1932, and an intermediate secondary faculty in 1936. In 1948, it have become a graduate university in Humanities and in 1958 the Science movement changed into introduced. It obtained Post-Graduate repute in Humanities in 1959 and in Science in 1982.
Raghunath Girls Post Graduate College (RGPGC, Meerut) is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.
Raghunath Girls Post Graduate College (RGPGC, Meerut) courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degrees i.e. Bachelor of Arts (BA) History, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), etc. Postgraduate Degree i.e. Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Arts (MA) English, Master of Science (M.Sc.)
