RMK College of Engineering and Technology offers a B.E/B.Tech with specializations in Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The college also provides Lateral Entry admissions in the second year of engineering in all specializations.50% of the admissions are done under Government Quota through a single window system of counseling conducted by Anna University. Admissions are given in the affiliated colleges based on the marks obtained in the HSC. Candidates are not required to appear for any entrance and have to enroll only for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA). The remaining 50% of the admissions are done under management quota through a single window system of counseling conducted by the Consortium of Self-Financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Candidates should have passed Tamil Nadu HSC (Academic) examinations with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Also, candidates having passed Tamil Nadu HSC (Vocational) are eligible for admission. Candidates other than the state of Tamil Nadu will be considered as belonging to another Category (OC) while applying for B.Tech.
For Lateral Entry admission into second-year candidates
should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu, or an equivalent examination. Candidates holding an undergraduate degree in B.Sc are also eligible to apply.

OTHER STATE ELIGIBILITY
• Candidates from other states will be considered as belonging to OC only, irrespective of their community to consider minimum eligibility marks.
• Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form available along with the prospectus. Filled-in application forms along with a non-refundable registration fee as stipulated should be sent to the office of the Principal, R.M.K.College of Engineering and Technology, R.S.M.Nagar, Kavaraipettai, Pin-601206, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
• Tuition and other fees prescribed by the college should be paid in full before the stipulated date. The fee once paid will not be refunded on any account. If any student wishes to leave the course in the middle he/she shall pay the full tuition fee prescribed for the course. Students rusticated from the college shall forfeit all the fees paid.
• The Management's decision will be final in all matters relating to admission, training & discipline and will be binding on all the parties concerned.
