Established in 2010 as a Center for Excellence, R. N. G. Patel Institute of Technology [RNGPIT] is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmadabad. The institute is situated near Isroli-Afwa in Bardoli taluka of Surat District, about 4 KMs away from Bardoli Town. Facilities and Infrastructure

“An ounce of practice is better than tons of theory”. As then said, the institute is equipped with the heaven of engineering with state-of-art facilities that impart practical knowledge on machining, fitting, carpentry, welding, smithy, tin smithy, plumbing, and foundry. It is equipped with all gear lathes, conventional lathes as well as woodworking lathes. A machine shop is also equipped with Shaper, surface grinding and radial drilling machine, universal milling machines, EDM, CNC Turning center, etc.

The Computer Centre administers and manages the entire campus computer network with 450 numbers of computers connected in LAN having fiber connectivity with 35 mbps internet connectivity and the latest licensed applications and system software. All the laboratories are managed and maintained by the computer center team. Students are allowed to access the internet in free slots as well as students can do their own projects and research work at the computer center.

The library is the source to increase your knowledge power. The library is the most effective part of engineering education. At RNGPIT college the library facilitates learning printed media such as Standard Textbooks, Reference books, and National & International journals with voluminous reference sections. It also has a rich collection of e- materials available locally on the institute LAN. The library is spread across a 400 square meter area including four separate halls one each for reference, circulation, reading, and digital library. The library is equipped with barcode automation using soul 2.0 software. The library extends the reprographic facility to the users. Book bank facility is available for 1st year and 2nd-year students.

John Kennedy said, “A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on. Ideas have endurance without death.” These ideas are inculcated in the Auditorium and Seminar Halls. The institute is equipped with spacious, well-lit, acoustically sound, and centrally air-conditioned seminar halls and Auditorium. The Auditorium is well-equipped with the latest technologies and has a seating capacity of 500 Nos. at a time and two seminar halls, each having a seating capacity of 200 Nos. at a time. The aesthetic appeal of the hall encourages students to come up with innovative ideas and present them in the most fruitful manner.

Our institute has started Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hostel from the current year, 52 students are provided hostel facilities within the college campus. The students are able to concentrate study even after college time as the hostel is situated within a peaceful natural atmosphere, R.O. drinking water; Water Heater, and Mesh are salient features of the hostel.

For the ease of students hailing from local, urban as well as remote areas, the institute has provided college bus facilitates for the commuters. FETR runs seven local college buses from Bardoli, five buses from Surat, and one from Navsari. Each bus is facilitated with a music system, which plays melodious music throughout the journey. the institute charges very nominally for the bus facility.

The most happening place of any college is not any exception here also. Always bubbling with students, the Canteen is the favorite place for the students together, hang out and have fun with friends with their silly gossip!!! The institute makes sure that it never compromises on hygiene standards.
