RVS College of Nursing, Coimbatore Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1993 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Paramedical. RVSHS is approved by the reputed INC and is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Management of RVSHS Coimbatore is working under Dr. K.V. Kuppusamy.

PHYSICAL FACILITIES:

The College is situated on a vast campus, which runs other Medical and Paramedical institutions. It has several airy, well-ventilated, well-furnished classrooms, Nursing laboratories, and Library. The College has the advantage of having access to the Medical laboratories of the Homeopathy, Siddha, and Dental Colleges and hospitals at our Campus.

CLASSROOMS:

The RVS College of Nursing has well-ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements. Each classroom is secured with blackboards OHPs LCD and a public address system.

LABORATORIES:

To facilitate students learning through simulation & demonstration, the college has the following labs equipped with all the latest equipment and articles: Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory, Biochemistry & Physiology Laboratory, Anatomy Laboratory,Community Health Nursing

LIBRARY:

The Central Library of the RVS College of Nursing was established along with the genesis of the College in the year 2008. The Central Library is functioning on the ground floor with a total area of 3000 Sq.ft with a seating capacity of 100 students at a time. The College Library presently has about 4000 Books, 2100 Titles, 25 Journals (National & International) and Magazines, and 100 CDs. Newspapers and Journals are subscribed for the benefit of students and teachers.

TEMPLES:

Chairman believes that it is with the divine blessings of Lord Muruga that the educational trust is progressing well and caters to the needs of the rural population towards enhancement and betterment in their education. Every RVS Institution houses one of the Muruga temples and RVSCET houses the abode of Tiruchendur Senthil Andavar where both staff and students pray and attain peace of mind. 

TRANSPORT:

The College has its own fleet of buses to transport the students to and from various parts of the city. The own transport considerably reduces the commuting hassles otherwise faced by students and staff.
