• Sacred Heart College offers UG courses in 16 specializations under five different streams - Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Computer Application(BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). All the undergraduate courses are offered for 3 years.

• Admission to the UG courses is done based on marks obtained by the candidates in their (10+2) examination. For admission to BA Animation and Graphic Design, the candidate needs to appear in an aptitude test and interview. The application process for the UG course starts in May every year.

PG Admission (SHC), Ernakulam

• Sacred Heart College provides postgraduate courses to candidates with 15 different specializations under the art, science, and commerce streams. All the PG courses offered by the college are of 3 years duration.

• Admission to the PG courses in Sacred Heart College is done based on the merit of marks/grades secured by the candidate at the UG level. The application process starts in June every year.

• A separate application shall be submitted if the applicant intends to apply for more than one program

• The college follows the same reservation policies as seen for the UG programs

• The unveiled seats by the SC candidates will be diverted to ST candidates and vice versa. The unveiled seats reserved for SC/ST shall be re-notified through print media.

• Admission to MA Digital Animation/Graphic Design/Cinema & Television/MCJ programs will be based on an aptitude test and interview in addition to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination

SH College M.Phil and Ph.D. Admission 

• Sacred Heart College offers two different types of research courses - M.Phil. and Ph.D. The M.Phil. courses are one year and consist of two semesters. Subjects offered for M.Phil are Economics, Commerce, and Physics.

• The college also offers Ph.D. courses for six different specializations that include Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Physics, and Zoology. For admission to the Ph.D. programs, one should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates should possess a Postgraduate degree in any discipline from MG University or any other university that is considered as an equivalent by MGU, with a minimum of 55% aggregate. Candidates awaiting the results of their PG degree can also apply for the program

• Candidates with MBBS/ BAHMS/ BHMS /BDS degree should have a minimum of 50% aggregate.

• CA and ACS candidates can also apply, provided their name has been entered in the Register as members maintained by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

• For SC/ST candidates, one should have a minimum of 50% of a PG degree
