SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (SIAS), a leading higher education institution in the state of Kerala, was established in 2005 by the Social Advancement Foundation of India (SAFI), a major charity. It offers 13 UG and 6 GUT programs in the fields of arts, science, business, management, and media. SIAS is affiliated with the University of Calicut and recognized by the Government of Kerala and the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f). The Government of India's National Commission on MinorityEducational Institutions has granted the institution minority status. SIAS is particularly committed to economically weak, socially disadvantaged, and needy students. It has a huge campus spread over 100 acres with a built area of ?? 2 lacks plus sq ft and is located in a socially and educationally backward region of Malappuram District, 22 kilometers from Calicut city towards Calicut Airport.
