The Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is a rising star on the horizon of quality education, building on the rich tradition of the Catholic educational system.  SIMS is the fourth professional initiative of the Irinjalakuda Diocesan Education Fund (IDET) chaired by Mar Pauly Kannookadan, Bishop of Irinjalakuda. The Institute was founded in 2015 by the Honorary Governor of Kerala Shri Justice (Retired) P. Sathasivam in the presence of Prof.C. Raveendranath (Minister of Education, Government of Kerala), Mar Pauly Kannookadan and other dignitaries. SIMS became operational on August 1st, 2016 after being affiliated with Calicut University, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and recognized by Kerala Government.  SIMS offers a management education embedded in values ?? and believes that tomorrow's young minds will spread their wings through a worldly and spiritual vision. Teachers can access market data, discussions, etc. online. in the classrooms. All teaching materials are made accessible and available to students via the university intranet. Seminar and lecture hall: 

The institute has several rooms for seminars, congresses, special events, etc., which can accommodate from 100 to 500 people. All seminar rooms are aesthetically designed, air-conditioned, and equipped with the latest multimedia equipment. The air-conditioned Mar James Pazhayattil Memorial Auditorium (Amphi Theatre), equipped with the best sound and light, can accommodate 500 people. They are ideal locations for corporate events, conferences, and seminars.

Hostels: 

The Institute offers adequate accommodation for students on campus. There are youth hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are adequately equipped with internet, recreational, medical, canteen, and other services. Consulting services, control tests, etc. are provided as required. The inn's dining room serves quality food and snacks. Hostels provide a safe environment conducive to learning. There are many teachers in the dormitory who are available to the students to clear their doubts etc. The inns are run by venerable priests and nuns. The Institute has a central cafeteria and snack bars at various locations. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are available in the central canteen. The snack bar of the institute is open on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It serves drinks, snacks, juices, ice cream, and other delicacies to satisfy your taste buds. It also has provisions for stationery, copiers, spiral binding, etc. All catering companies on campus are certified by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
