Sankara Educational Institutions, sponsored by the Coimbatore Educational and Cultural Foundation Trust, founded by ‘Kalvi Chemmal’ Sri T.K. Pattabhiraman with the blessing of his holiness paramachariar and the foundation stone was laid by late Raja Sir MuthiahChettiar, Pro-chancellor, Annamalai University in August 1982.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

The library department of SPC functions from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm during all working days. Salient features include a digital library, Browsing Internet for educational purposes, OPAC system, and Online journals. Bar code systems are maintained during the issue and return of books.

Hostel Facilities:

The College has a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. Two boys' hostels within the campus to accommodate outstation students are available. The student's accommodation desk will facilitate your hostel admission process during admissions. Please fill in the application form during admission for the hostel reservations.

Canteen:

Affordable high-quality food for the student/parent/staff community is available through our “Teens Cafeteria” inside our college campus

Sports Facilities:

We have an excellent 400 m modern track and multipurpose gym. Sports are regularly encouraged in our college, with participation in indivision and state-level tournaments.
