Library:

Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Library stands as a magnificent addition to the University's architectural splendor, seamlessly integrating arts with the physical grandeur of the campus. Boasting an extensive collection, the library houses 35,000 books, 500 referral journals, and 200 manuscripts. Its well-designed reading room accommodates over 300 students simultaneously, providing an ideal space for academic pursuits.

Recognizing the importance of library modernization, the institution has taken proactive steps toward automation. With financial support from the UGC, three technical assistants have been enlisted to spearhead this initiative. Additionally, a special provision is in place for the curation and presentation of palm leaf manuscripts, with plans for editing and publication by the research center for the benefit of students and researchers.

Anticipating the evolving needs of the academic community, the administration is actively considering the establishment of an e-library. Plans for its implementation are set to be initiated in the current academic year, reflecting the commitment to staying at the forefront of educational resources and technology.

Health Care:

To ensure the regular health check-ups of both students and employees, the University has established a health center staffed by a qualified and esteemed doctor. We maintain continuous communication with the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) in Puri to address any emergencies that may arise. Our persistent efforts in this regard have been successfully realized, and the benefits of these health initiatives are being enjoyed by all, providing a source of satisfaction for our university community.

Girls Hostel:

Named Brahmi Chhatri Nivas, the Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya women's hostel accommodates up to 240 residents. It offers students subsidized board and lodging facilities. The hostel is equipped with recreational amenities, a common room, and provisions for indoor games, providing boarders with constructive ways to spend their leisure time.
