Santhi College of Nursing is situated in Venappara in Kozhikode district, about 4kms from Omassery. The college was launched in the year 2011. The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS) and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNMC). The College offers excellent learning opportunities to the students, both in classroom learning as well as in clinical experience. On induction, the students are put through an Ice-Breaking Session, followed by Soft Skill Training Program, to assist them with adjusting to the changed environment, besides adapting to the professional demands.

Admission Requirements:

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Candidate should pass a higher secondary certificate examination (+2) or an equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognized board or university with science and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The candidate shall be medically fit.

Physical Facilities:

The new college is located on a 12-acre land at Venappara with a spacious college building. The classroom is equipped with an LCD projector and OHP for teaching purposes. We are having well-quipped laboratories with adequate lighting, drinking water, and toilet facilities is another hallmark of the building. The college library has more than 1500 books and various national and international journals.

Hostel:

The 3 story girl’s hostel adjoins the college building within the campus and has rooms with facilities to accommodate 4 students each.

Transportation:

Transportation is available for the students to meet their academic, clinical, and extracurricular activities.

Hostel- 

A girls’ hostel within the campus is available. Spacious and well-furnished rooms with facilities are available. Each room can accommodate 4 students.

Library- 

More than 1500 books and national and international journals are available in the library for the students and a peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the library for the students.

The classrooms are outfitted with an LCD projector and OHP for educational purposes. These facilitate the learning process of students.
